Estriol is the final metabolite of estrogen hormone, and it is naturally present in women. Estriol is short acting and has less side effects compared to other estrogen derivatives.

2. How does estriol vaginal cream treat vaginal dryness (atrophic vaginitis)?

Vaginal dryness or atrophic vaginitis when there is thinning and inflammation of the vaginal wall. This frequently occurs during menopause. Vaginal dryness can lead to painful intercourse and urinary symptoms. Estriol vaginal cream found in PhysiPro Pink™ stimulates the growth and maturation of vaginal epithelium in atrophic vaginitis.

3. Has estriol vaginal cream been studied?

Yes. Multiple research studies and clinical case reports have shown marked improvement in women with atrophic vaginitis symptoms.

4. Is estriol vaginal cream safe to use?

Yes, when applied topically to a specific location such as the vaginal wall. There is limited risk when applied once-daily intravaginally regarding the risk of endometrial proliferation. PhysiPro Pink™ uses a low dose of estriol: 0.03 mg. This dose has similar effectiveness compared to higher doses but does not increase systemic levels of estrogen or endometrial proliferation after six months of use.
